Mixed Reality (MR) and Augmented Reality (AR) allow the creation of novel types of user interfaces integrating computer-generated information into the real world. Applications of this technology are beginning to have a significant impact on industry and society. The research field is highly interdisciplinary, bringing together computer vision, computer graphics, user interfaces, human factors, wearable computing, mobile computing, computer networks, displays, sensors, to name just some of the most important influences.

Since 2002, ISMAR is the premier forum in this vibrant field. In the year 2007, we are proud to present the 6th IEEE and ACM International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR 2007). The symposium will be held on Nov. 13-16, 2007, in historical Nara, Japan. It provides a great opportunity for industry representatives to present their products and solutions to an audience who is involved in advancing the state of the art.

Who should participate? If you are a supplier of products and solutions that address technical issues required for AR or apply AR technology to real-world problems, you should demonstrate your technology at ISMAR 2007.
